As stated in Joe Hisaishi's official website, Tokyo's Nippon Budokan complex will host a large-scale concert event in August titled, "Ponyo on the Cliff by the Sea Movie Opening Commemoration." This event will commemorate 25 years of cooperation between Hayao Miyazaki and Joe Hisaishi. Hisaishi will be accompanied by a 200-piece orchestra and a 400-member chorus. Songs for all of Hisaishi's collaboration with Miyazaki will be performed.
