The wait is almost over...and it would seem that all good things come to those who wait. Baltimore Comic-Con 2011 returns for its 12th year this Saturday and Sunday, August 20-21.
The Baltimore Convention Center will play host to countless legends this weekend, with the one and only Stan "The Man" Lee leading the way as the Guest of Honor. Just over 150 guests, over 100 exhibitors and retailers and a packed artist alley await. I am especially excited to check out what Top Cow has in store for the coming year! The ever popular costume contest returns for its third year, with a new date and new (and bigger) room.

If you've gone to the past conventions, you know why I never miss it -- the perfect getaway for the comic book junkie. So what are you waiting for, get that list of missing back-issues you need, grab those comic books that are itching for an autograph, and bask in "Nerd-vana."
